As a continuation to the InterSpace study, Haunted Planet is an AI-powered landscape that responds to the presence of people within its “physical” boundaries: the shape of the landscape changes continuously to mirror the social activity in its vicinity.
It does this by generating shapes for each speech heard, mapped in the same position in the digital habitat as people’s location in their physical space. Through this generative process, the terrain becomes a real-time translation of its social surrounding, spatial dynamics and human activity.
